Privacy
There are no accounts and no server. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere, and this page says exactly what is stored, where, and the one request that leaves your browser.
The short version
This site is a set of files. There is no account to create, no server that knows who you are, and no advertising or analytics code on any page. We cannot see what you read, what you practise, or anything you type into the paperwork tools, because none of it is sent to us.
Two things leave your browser, and all of them are named in full below: the typefaces are served by Google Fonts, and if you choose to type an address into the weekly-email form, that address goes to the service that sends the email. Nothing else does, and nothing at all is sent unless you press the button.
The paperwork tools
The transcript, attendance log, withdrawal letter and portfolio cover sheet ask for a child's name, date of birth, address and school district. This is the most sensitive information anywhere on the site, so it is worth being precise about it.
Those pages contain no network code at all — no fetch, no form submission, no beacon, no third-party script, no image loaded from another site. The documents are assembled in your browser and printed from it. Nothing is uploaded, and there is nowhere for it to be uploaded to.
This is enforced rather than promised. A test in the build fails if any of those pages ever gains a way to transmit data, so the claim cannot quietly stop being true.
Save your own copy. Each tool saves to a file you download and keep. We are not a backup: a record you may need years later should not live only in a browser that can forget it.
The occasional email, if you want it
The year-plan pages offer to email you what the coming weeks cover — now and then, never more than once a fortnight, and often less. That form is the only place on this site that collects anything, and it collects one thing: an email address, plus the grade you picked so we know which plan to send.
It is an ordinary HTML form with no JavaScript behind it. Nothing is transmitted while you type, and nothing at all is sent unless you press the button. When you do, the address goes to the mailing service that delivers the email and nowhere else. We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to anyone, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.
Please use your own address rather than a child’s. The email is written for the adult planning the year, and we would rather hold nothing belonging to a child.
If you never use the form, this site holds nothing about you at all.
What is stored on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage — a small space on your own computer that no website other than this one can read, and that is never transmitted. It holds:
- Learner progress, under the keys
m3z:usersandm3z:u:<name>: which problems have been attempted, what was answered, and how far through a course you are. - Unfinished paperwork, under
pw-transcript-draftand three similar keys, so an accidental refresh does not lose a half-filled form.
Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it. Nothing survives elsewhere, which also means progress does not follow you to another device or another browser.
No cookies are set, by us or by anyone.
The one thing that leaves your browser
Page typefaces are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com.
When that happens Google receives your IP address and the address of the page you are reading, under
Google's privacy policy. We receive
nothing from it and set nothing ourselves.
With the fonts and the email form, that is the complete list. No analytics, no tag manager, no advertising network, no embedded video, no social buttons, no fonts or scripts from anywhere else. Every other file a page loads comes from this site, and nothing records what you read.
Children
This site is used by children, and it is built so that there is nothing to collect. We hold no account, no name and no schoolwork belonging to any child. The one form on the site asks an adult for their own address so a weekly plan can be sent to it, and nothing anywhere asks a child for anything. Information a parent types into the paperwork tools stays on the family's own computer.
Links to other sites
The homeschool law pages link to statutes, state education agencies and the National Archives, and the lessons link to sources such as the Library of Congress. Those sites set their own terms and we have no control over or visibility into what they record.
If this changes
If advertising, analytics or any account system is ever added, this page will be rewritten before it ships, with the date above updated and the change described plainly rather than absorbed into a longer document. Questions go to [email protected].
